    OHIO STATE AUXILIARY

    FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE

    January 28, 2020

Welcome to the Ohio State Auxiliary website.  We as FOP Auxiliary members are the family members of Law Enforcement Officers. We exist because of the Fraternal Order of Police, but we support all Blue line officers and their family members. If your Leo is a FOP member in good standing and you would like to learn more about joining our auxiliary family or starting your own auxiliary, please contact myself or any member of the state of Ohio Auxiliary board.

As we move into 2020 our Leo’s are still facing many challenges as they try and protect the people of our great nation.  We unfortunately lost another hero here in Ohio this past November. We more than ever need to be here to support our Leo’s and our Blue Line Family across the U.S. and Abroad but mostly here at home in Ohio. We know as blue family members we want to fix it and make it better.  That is not always what they need.  I suggest taking one of the CIRS classes that are offered so you can better understand how to help your LEO, all the information you need to contact someone is on this web site.

We continue to support the many charities such as CIRS, Special Olympics, National Peace Officers Memorial. Each year several of us from the State of Ohio volunteer to help with the families and co-workers of our fallen heroes during Police Week in Washington D.C.   These committees are very important and special to us but the closest to our hearts is the Fallen Hero Committee. This committee was formed serval years ago to honor our Fallen Heroes right here in Ohio.  We present a plaque to the FOP Lodge (or agency, if the fallen hero wasn’t a FOP member) in the fallen hero’s name and  a monetary donation.

I hope you will consider starting your own auxiliary.  I think I speak for the entire State Auxiliary board when I say, there is nothing like being a part of the FOP family.  We live by our motto ‘NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE”, this includes not only our Leo’s but our blue line family members as well.   We are here for you whether you are a member of an Auxiliary or not.

    Fraternally,

    Peggy Mohr,

    Ohio State Auxiliary President

    Never Let Them Walk Alone
