To everyone affected by Thin Blue Line Benefits:

The Ohio Attorney General’s Office represents the Ohio Department of Insurance in litigation against Thin Blue Line Benefits. We are aware that policyholders are reporting that Thin Blue Line Benefits is not paying medical claims. Information regarding claims payment may be relevant to the litigation.

The Department has been advising consumers to continue to send their claim information to Thin Blue Line.  We have been advised that Thin Blue Line is continuing to pay claims through their normal processes and in accordance with the terms of the policies.  If you have members whose claims remain unpaid or who believe their claim payout was not in accordance with the terms of their policy, please have those members contact the Department at 800-686-1526 and/or consumer.services@insurance.ohio.gov or fill out a consumer complaint form through the link found here: Thin Blue Line Benefits Association, LLC - Claims and Legal Action Update | Department of Insurance.
